We only collect the details you choose to give us through our forms, for example:
We do not collect payment details on this website, and we do not use advertising or profiling. If you apply to a programme such as RISE, that is handled through a separate secure form and its own privacy information.
We use your details to reply to you, add you to a waiting list or newsletter you asked for, and keep you updated about relevant Digilearning opportunities. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any email. Where we contact organisations about partnerships, our basis is legitimate interest.
We never sell your data. We use trusted service providers only to run our own systems, for example our email/newsletter provider and our website hosting. Any partners, brands or funders only ever see aggregate, non-identifying information, never your individual details without your consent.
This website keeps cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The cookies and local storage we do use are:
| Type | What it does | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| Essential / preferences | Remembers that you have seen and accepted our cookie notice, so it does not keep reappearing. Stored in your browser's local storage. | Digilearning (first-party) |
| Embedded video | If you choose to play our film, YouTube may set its own cookies to deliver the video. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so these are only set once you press play. | YouTube / Google (third-party) |
| Newsletter sign-up | If you subscribe, our newsletter provider (Mailchimp) may set cookies on their own pages to process your sign-up. | Mailchimp (third-party) |
| Security & performance | Our hosting network (Cloudflare) may set a strictly necessary cookie to keep the site secure and fast. | Cloudflare (third-party) |
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work (for example, embedded videos).
We keep the details you give us only as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them, or until you ask us to remove them, and no longer than necessary.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any right, email hello@digilearning.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Your data is protected in transit by HTTPS and by server-level security controls. We only keep what we need, and access is limited to the people who run Digilearning.
